When I was in Thailand. I found an interesting article about Japanese Artist "Yayoi Kusama". She was born in Japan in March 22, 1929. When she was young she has hallucinations and severe obsession. Then when she grew up to be an artist. She always use polka dots in her works. She takes it directly from her sick when she was young. I read this article and saw pictures of her work on internet and I think. It's amazing, fantastic. I want to see the real one. Then when I came to London my dream come true. In saturday 2 weeks ago I went to Southbank centre is closed to 2 tube stations Waterloo and Embankment. The ticket prices is not expensive. If you have student card. The student ticket price is 6 pounds. In there it has 10 contemporary artist in diverse media but in the same topic "Walking in my mind". Yayoi, she is one of the ten artists. She used installation art for her media. She covered surface objects such as trees, room, chairs etc with the polka dots. When I saw it. I felt very impress with her work and I think the real one is more impact to me than pictures on internet. I highly recommended to everyone who love art and want to walk through artistes' mind with our mind.
